Bixby Park Master Plan

Client: City of Long Beach    Location: Long Beach, CA

Here LA designers prepared a short and long-term vision plan for this beautiful historic park in Long Beach.  Some of the improvements proposed in the Master Plan, like an expansion to the playground and a fitness loop have already been implemented.  The Plan was based around a Public Life Survey that tracked the movements and habits of people visiting the park. Designers prepared a creative outreach process and a phased vision for the Park, which develops naturally over time. Project completed while at previous firm.
