Pilot Project Installed in West Hollywood

This month, the City of West Hollywood, in partnership with the City of LA, installed a set of temporary street improvements along Willoughby Avenue, as part of the Willoughby Ave, Kings Rd, and Vista/Gardner Street Design Project.

The project was led by HERE LA, with support from our friends at Fehr & Peers. Improvements include a neighborhood traffic circle, a set of corner bulb-outs, and a traffic diverter. All are designed to calm and relocate traffic off of Willoughby, so that the street can be safer and more pleasant for people walking and biking.

The pilot project will be in place through the summer, with a set of community meetings in August so that the technical team can hear from the community.

Take a ride or stroll down Willoughby and let us know what you think!
